The poem sheds light on the unsung heroism of the impoverished, whose silent battles often go unnoticed. He walks the path, rugged and bare, A soul weighed down by endless care. Each dawn brings toil, each night despair, For his family’s hunger, he must repair. With calloused hands and weary eyes, He faces a world that never replies. The bitter wind, the burning sun, His struggles countless, victories none. In rags he stands, his spirit tall, But poverty’s chains do tightly crawl. The Dreamer’s Pain

The world was theirs, they thought it true, Until the storms of fate broke through. No doors unlocked, no calls to come, Their hearts grew heavy, their voices numb. “What of the dreams I built with care? Why does the world seem so unfair?” The pain of effort left unseen, Of shattered hopes where ligh...

~Poet= Eoin Sushant

~ Poet= Eoin Sushant

The Price of Freedom

About the Poem This poem is an ode to the sacrifices made by freedom fighters who gave their lives for the cause of their nation. The imagery of "chains," "flames," and "blood" reflects their suffering and resilience. It highlights the paradox of life born from death—the freedom we cherish today was forged through their pain. The tone is somber yet resolute, emphasizing the weight of their sacrifice and the hope it instilled in future generations. The gallows symbolize not an end but a beginning, a profound testament to their courage. Beneath the moon's cold, silver gaze, They marched through dark and thorny ways. Dreams of a land where chains would break, A silent oath for freedom’s sake. Their hearts were flames, though bodies torn, With every wound, a hope was born. Each drop of blood, a silent plea, For unborn generations free. They kissed the gallows, unafraid, For in their deaths, a future stayed. A nation rose on their despair, Built on courage,...

The Silent Climb

About the poem  The poem portrays a girl’s struggle as a symbol of resilience and transformation. It delves into the unseen battles of overcoming societal expectations and personal doubt, emphasizing the power of perseverance and inner strength. Ultimately, it inspires breaking barriers and igniting change not only for oneself but for others. She walks alone through winds that bite, Her shadow stretched by fading light. The world, it whispers, "Stay your pace," Yet fire burns behind her face. Her dreams are stars, too far to grasp, She reaches out, her hands unclasp. The weight of doubt, the chains of scorn, Her spirit bruised, her will reborn. Each step she takes, the earth will quake, The paths she carves, the skies will break. For every scar upon her skin, Is proof of battles fought within. They see her fall, but not her rise, Her struggles masked in silent cries. Yet in her soul, a storm will brew, A force the world has never knew. She fights for more than just her name...

A Spring Day’s Whisper

About the poem  The poem captures the transient beauty of a spring day, using it as a metaphor for life’s fleeting moments. It emphasizes the importance of cherishing the present, finding meaning in impermanence, and embracing the cycles of renewal and change. The air hums soft, a gentle tune, As petals fall beneath the moon. The earth awakes from winter’s hold, A tapestry of green and gold. The brook resumes its lilting song, A melody forgotten long. Each bud unfurls, a promise made, Of life renewed, where shadows fade. But spring’s soft bloom, though full of cheer, Reminds us all the end is near. For time, relentless, marches on, And soon this day, like youth, is gone. Yet in this fleeting, fragile grace, We find the strength to face our space. Each fleeting bloom, each fleeting hour, A lesson dressed in leaf and flower. So hold the warmth, embrace the day, For spring, like life, will drift away.                       ...
