A Spring Day’s Whisper

 About the poem

The poem captures the transient beauty of a spring day, using it as a metaphor for life’s fleeting moments. It emphasizes the importance of cherishing the present, finding meaning in impermanence, and embracing the cycles of renewal and change.

The air hums soft, a gentle tune,

As petals fall beneath the moon.

The earth awakes from winter’s hold,

A tapestry of green and gold.

The brook resumes its lilting song,

A melody forgotten long.

Each bud unfurls, a promise made,

Of life renewed, where shadows fade.

But spring’s soft bloom, though full of cheer,

Reminds us all the end is near.

For time, relentless, marches on,

And soon this day, like youth, is gone.

Yet in this fleeting, fragile grace,

We find the strength to face our space.

Each fleeting bloom, each fleeting hour,

A lesson dressed in leaf and flower.

So hold the warmth, embrace the day,

For spring, like life, will drift away.
